I worked in business development in marketing originally until I combined it with business development in general. So in 2018, I joined Playrix as Head of Marketing Growth. I realized I had wanted to return back to gaming, my passion. While I was working in IT, I was recruited by Playrix. I was always fond of games and had played Playrix's Gardenscapes. For three years, I helped the company penetrate foreign markets and launch new services in Indonesia, Brazil, Poland, and Thailand, to name a few. I also worked as Director of Business Development for an IT company doing Internet advertising for a while. I've come a long way in the industry since then-from Quality Assurance Manager to Executive Director at a game publisher in Russia. I started off at the Korean company Gravity, working on PC games like Ragnarök Online and Requiem Online.
I've been in the gaming industry since 2007. How did your professional journey lead you to Playrix? Gardenscapes is a very entertaining casual game that has charming graphics and a gameplay that's perfectly suited to touchscreens. You can even get a friendly pet that will accompany you on your adventure. The game consists of more than 100 different levels where you can meet new characters and unlock a ton of content. So no matter what you're doing, you'll be doing something fun. To get money and stars, you'll have to play a match 3 minigame (similar to Candy Crush or Bejeweled). To build new elements in your garden, you'll need money and stars. The gameplay in Gardenscapes is relatively simple. And while you're doing that, you'll also be following an interesting story starring Austin, your butler. To do so, you'll have to build benches, fountains, hedges, statues, lampposts, trees, and other decorative elements to give a unique look to your garden. Gardenscapes is a casual game where your objective is to restore the beautiful garden in a grand mansion.
