Front brakes are 4 pot Hi Spec cailers and Mintex 1144 pads produce reliable and amazing stopping power. Car has a 7” 3.62 ratio sierra viscous LSD, sprint fuel tank with built in fuel pump, Raceleda alloy uprights on front with Hi Spec 4pot brakes on front, Siltech wide track wishbones (+35mm), double adjusting protech shocks, escort 2.4 quick rack, lightweight BEC front and rear ARBs, lightened discs etc. The driver’s seat is GRP and has 6 point harness (it also has a passenger seat and belts – not fitted ), battery is a lithium Powerlite PS12. It has removable quick release Sparco steering wheel, AB performance paddle shift and rod system for clutchless upshifts using HM quickshifter and the engine has a slipper clutch for down shifts.
The car is fitted with a full cage to FIA standards. The car was previously owned by Andy Rushworth (CAT Motorsport) and with a Blackbird engine he won the overall Westfield Championship twice in Road going classes. I have owned this car for the last 10 years running in Mod prods and have set numerous class records, had several FTDs and won the overall Westfield Speed Series championship twice ( 20). Lots of carbon fibre parts including full flat floor, carbon mods nose cone, carbon mods bonnet, carbon boot cover, tunnel cover, carbon half doors, carbon rear diffuser etc. This is probably the lightest independent wide bodied sprint BEC Westfield at 403Kgs. Currently fitted with 2018 Honda CBR 1000RR fireblade (ex John McGuiness engine) producing 194 bhp at the rear wheels (220 at flywheel) and it revs to 14000rpm. The car has a Motorsport UK logbook valid for 2023. Over the last 10 years this car has been very successful running in Mod Prod classes on slicks.
